The artist.
My artistic career began in 2010 with the exhibition “Enchanted by Embroidery” in Kyiv. Shortly afterward, my still life “Lilies of the Valley” received the Grand Prix at the NTF competition and two awards at Ukrainian Art Week — the start of a journey that has since crossed Europe, the Middle East and North America. In Milan I presented hand-embroidered art bags with floral motifs — wearable art objects that turn traditional embroidery into contemporary couture. Olesia is a Ukrainian embroidery artist, a maker of legends and symbolic images.
- 2010–2012 — BEGINNINGSA 2010 debut in Kyiv — “Enchanted by Embroidery” and “From Light to Light”; the Grand Prix at NTF for “Still Life with Lilies of the Valley”, awards at Ukrainian Art Week and at the “Embroidered Wonder” festival in Chernivtsi. Solo exhibitions in Lviv (Lviv Fashion Week, “Illusions” — Gary Bowman British House) and Truskavets (Rixos-Prykarpattya).
- 2013–2018 — ABROADSolo exhibition “TELEMACHY” in London and a presentation in Montreal. Then — “Women’s Whims” (Gary Bowman Gallery, Lviv), Paris (Festival De Mode Slave “Fil Rouge”), the UAE, Lviv Fashion Week and Kyiv Fashion.
- 2019–NOW — MILAN & BEYONDRegular Emerging Talents collections in Milan, Zurich and Yerevan; “Exquisite Emotion” in Kyiv (2020). Later — ART COLOGNE, Nicoleta Gallery (Berlin), Miami Artweeks, Intercontinental Biennale (Panama) and galleries in Dubai, Zug and Grenada; the touring retrospective “The Matter of Time. The Thread That Became Fate” (Kolomyia · Ivano-Frankivsk · Lviv, 2026).

“Children Born in War”
Hand-embroidered artworks, video installation and sound — the fragile, visceral experience of childhood emerging in wartime reality. Its futurist-cubist language reflects a world fractured by fear, pain, and hope — where adults and children alike struggle to assemble the shattered pieces of identity and humanity.
